This is perfect timing for me because, eight months into my Substack journey, I’m feeling a little lost and unsure of how to proceed. I am definitely feeling a pull to reorient my focus, which feels both scary and exciting. It also feels necessary because I have definitely been dragging my feet lately. I know something is missing, and I want to get the magic back.

I’d also just like to say how much I appreciate what you do and the person you are. I always learn something when I read your work or tune into one of these lives. And - just as important - I always come away feeling supported, encouraged, and inspired. In a world of noisy gurus shouting over each other, your space is a gorgeous oasis of intelligent and insightful camaraderie and creative integrity. I love everything about it. 💜

Amanda, you're a fountain of bracing advice. Hard to believe you and your daughter are fresh out of pediatric intensive care.

After two years I did a pivot—back to what I originally wanted to write about when I got here. It was an “aha” moment and felt very freeing, just as you’ve described here. Good advice.
